About LingoLink
LingoLink teaches Modern Standard Arabic to English speakers: useful Arabic from the first lesson, with the explanation of how it works one tap away.
LingoLink is built through collaboration between experienced linguistics and language-education professionals and software engineers.
Arabic should be challenging because you are learning a new language — not because the learning platform makes it confusing. So we keep the Arabic serious and the guidance clear.
LingoLink follows a communicative approach: you learn Arabic to do something with it, and you understand it well enough to use it again in a new situation.
Useful communication first
You learn Arabic you can use — greeting someone, asking a question, ordering food — instead of memorising disconnected word lists.
What is essential, first
Each course keeps to what you need for its situations, so every session moves you forward.
Language and culture together
Phrases come with the situations and customs they belong to, so you know when and how to use them.
Progress you can see
Short sessions, clear outcomes for every course, and a path that shows where you are — realistic steps, not promises of instant fluency.
You set the pace
Learn when it suits you. Replay any phrase or conversation as often as you like, and revisit any lesson you have finished.
Explanation attached to real Arabic
Every session has a Breakdown that shows how its Arabic works. Open it when you want to know why; skip it when you just want to practise.
Not a phrasebook
Phrases come with how they are built, so you can adapt them instead of only repeating them.
Not a textbook
Short, practical sessions come first; the grammar behind each phrase is in its Breakdown whenever you want it.
Not a points race
No leagues or streak pressure. Progress means you can do something new in Arabic.
Structured Courses
Lessons introduce Arabic progressively through vocabulary, useful expressions, examples, dialogues, and practical situations.
Arabic Audio
Lesson words and phrases come with computer-generated Arabic audio you can replay slowly or at normal speed. If the audio cannot play, the lesson may fall back to your device’s own Arabic voice.
English Translations
Arabic examples include clear English translations so you can understand the meaning of what you are reading and hearing.
Pronunciation for English Speakers
Transliteration accompanies Arabic examples to help English-speaking learners understand how words are pronounced while becoming more comfortable reading Arabic script.
Quizzes and Assessments
Practice quizzes help reinforce what you have learned and give you feedback on your understanding.
Extra Vocabulary Practice
A separate practice area revisits vocabulary from the courses available to you, so you can build recall between lessons at your own pace.
Progress Tracking
When you are signed in, LingoLink keeps track of your learning progress so you can return and continue where you left off.
LingoLink teaches Modern Standard Arabic, the widely understood form of Arabic used throughout the Arab world in education, writing, news, media, and formal communication.
Learning MSA provides a strong foundation for understanding Arabic and can also make it easier to explore regional dialects later.
Begin with 5 free sessions in Course 1, with no credit card required. Practise greetings and everyday replies, and connect letters and sounds in the Alphabet Bridge.
When you are ready to continue, Full Access unlocks the rest of the 21-course path with the same method.
