Terms of Service

1. Using LingoLink

LingoLink provides educational materials for learning Arabic. Your use of LingoLink is for personal, non-commercial learning.

You agree not to:

• access LingoLink without authorization or attempt to access another user's account or data;
• interfere with or disrupt LingoLink or the systems it runs on;
• bypass or attempt to bypass access controls, paywalls, or content protections;
• scrape, harvest, or bulk-download LingoLink content beyond normal personal use; or
• use LingoLink for any unlawful or abusive purpose.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for activity under your account. Accounts are intended for individual use — please don't share an account in a way that bypasses subscription requirements. Please keep your contact details current so we can reach you about your account.

3. Free Access

You can try 5 sessions in Course 1 for free, with no payment card.

4. Full Access

The rest of the course library is available with Full Access, a paid subscription. Current launch pricing is $14.99 per month or $59.99 per year. The price shown to you at checkout is the price that controls your transaction.

5. Automatic Renewal

Monthly Full Access subscriptions renew automatically every month. Annual Full Access subscriptions renew automatically every year. Renewal continues until you cancel.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing portal. Cancelling before your next renewal stops that renewal — it does not remove access you have already paid for. Your Full Access remains active through the end of the billing period you already paid for, unless another restriction in these Terms applies. Cancellation does not, by itself, create a partial or prorated refund for that period.

7. If a Renewal Payment Fails

If you are already a paying subscriber and a renewal payment fails, your Full Access continues for three days (72 hours) from that failed renewal while the payment is retried. You can update your payment details at any time during that period from your account's billing portal.

If payment has not succeeded by the end of those three days, Full Access to paid courses is restricted until payment succeeds or you start a new subscription. This three-day period applies to a failed renewal of an existing subscription — it does not apply to a first purchase that never completed successfully.

Your account, your free sessions, and your learning history are not affected.

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled as exceptions rather than as a general satisfaction guarantee, and unused subscription time is generally not prorated. We provide a refund where:

• you were charged more than once for the same subscription period;
• a charge was incorrect, or we confirm a billing error;
• we confirm you did not receive the access you paid for and we cannot put that right promptly;
• a transaction was not authorised by you, where a refund is appropriate;
• a refund is required by applicable law; or
• we approve one as an exceptional goodwill case.

Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law that applies to you, or any right you have through the payment method or app marketplace you used. Using the free sessions does not waive those rights.

To request a refund, contact support@lingolink.net and tell us which charge is affected.

9. Effect of a Refund on Access

If a full refund of a subscription payment is completed, the Full Access that payment paid for ends, and that subscription stops renewing. A partial refund does not, by itself, end your access.

A refund of one charge only affects the access that charge paid for. Refunding a duplicate charge, or a charge for an earlier billing period, does not remove access you are still validly paying for.

Your account and your learning history are kept, and you keep access to the free courses.

10. Payment Disputes

If a formal payment dispute or chargeback is opened against a subscription payment, we temporarily restrict the Full Access that payment paid for while the dispute is open.

Opening a formal dispute also ends the billing relationship for that subscription: it will not renew again. The billing period you have already paid for is not cancelled.

If the dispute is resolved in our favour, we remove that restriction and your access resumes if it is otherwise still valid — for example, if the billing period you paid for has not already ended. Renewal does not restart on its own; you can start a new subscription whenever you want. If the dispute is resolved against us, the affected access stays revoked.

We do not close or suspend your account because of a payment dispute. Your sign-in, your free sessions, your learning history, and your ability to contact support are unaffected. If you think a charge is wrong, contacting support@lingolink.net first is usually faster than a dispute.

11. Payment Processing

Payments and subscriptions are processed by third-party payment providers or app marketplaces depending on how Full Access is purchased. LingoLink does not receive or store your complete payment card number or card security code.

12. Course Materials and Intellectual Property

Lessons, written content, audio, graphics, PDFs, quizzes, games, assessments, and other LingoLink educational material are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Access to this material is a personal, non-transferable license for your own learning — it is not a sale of that material.

You agree not to:

• resell or redistribute paid content, including PDFs;
• publicly repost LingoLink material;
• reproduce LingoLink material for commercial purposes; or
• scrape, bulk-copy, or circumvent the protections around paid content.

Where downloads are offered, students may download available PDFs for their own personal learning.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for fraud, abuse, unauthorized account sharing, security attacks, redistribution of protected content, or serious or repeated violations of these Terms. A failed payment, a refund, or a payment dispute is not by itself a reason for us to suspend or close your account — those affect paid access only, as described in sections 7, 9 and 10.

14. Service Availability

We don't promise LingoLink will be available 100% of the time. Temporary interruptions can happen because of maintenance, updates, hosting problems, third-party outages, security events, or other circumstances outside our control.

15. Educational Content

LingoLink is a tool to support learning Arabic. We don't guarantee fluency, academic results, employment outcomes, certification, or any other specific outcome. Lessons and materials may be improved, corrected, or updated over time.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

17. Age Requirements

LingoLink is intended for users age 13 and older. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you should use LingoLink with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. LingoLink does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
